iMessages "Read All" not working
Hi there!
I have this strange bug whereas I can't get rid of all unread messages in iMessage app (it's badged with 38 unread messages) – "Read all" option isn't working for me. Scrolling through the list of all messages doesn't help as well – it looks like I don't have any unread messages, so the "unread notifications" are only as an icon badges.
I had this problem on iPhone 11 Pro, thought during migration to a new one (now I have 13 Pro) would solve this, but unfortunately it stayed.
A little background story:
For almost a decade (since the iMessages introduction) I used to stack unread messages for fun (spam, bank notifications etc.), but one day I decided to read them all :)
I tried to look through the support community but didn't find any relevant thread.
Any help would be much appreciated and thank you in advance.
P.S. FYI – I use several MacBooks – and I don't have this problem with iMessage there (no unread notifications).
