Does Apple have a virus scan, detected and removal app for iPhone and iPad? I recently got a text message with phishing written all over it, consequently, I am now running the McAfee Livesafe program on my iPhone and iPad. However, I realized, after the fact, it is not for Virus and Malware detection and removal.

Unless jailbroken, iPhones do not get viruses. As such, Apple does not provide an antivirus app for their iPhones. Of course, third-party sources for these apps do exist, but tend to cause more issues than resolve them.
What you, most likely, received was a spam message. We all get them and they are near impossible to stop. You just need to remain diligent to recognize them, not act on them, and just delete them.
