How to get information about warranty coverage?

To find out the coverage and/or warranty status for your product, you can visit Check Your Service and Support Coverage or https://mysupport.apple.com.

Depending on the device you have, you can also check coverage within device Settings:

iOS/iPadOS

Settings > General > About > Coverage

macOS

Apple Logo in Menu Bar > About this Mac > Support & Coverage

Apple’s Limited Warranty begins based on the date of purchase of your product, and lasts for a year.

You are eligible to purchase AppleCare+ within 60 days from purchasing your product.

You can check the status of the warranty for most Apple products at https://checkcoverage.apple.com

Not everything is registered for warranty coverage. Without it being entered in Apple's database, the only other way is to provide a receipt.
