Upgrade from duolingo plus to family plan

I just renewed my duolingo plus 3 days ago. Now I would like to upgrade to duolingo family plan from my current duolingo plus. I have to pay upfront the subscription fee for the family plan. I am not sure if I get some sort of refund for my payment for plus subscription from Apple. And how much will it be?

Thanks

You likely need to cancel the Pro subscription and request a refund from Apple. Then subscribe to the Family Plan.

Speak directly to Apple about the refund and explain to them that you wish to resubscribe to the Family Plan because normally a refund means that you can't use the app anymore.
