Drift screensaver BLACK SCREEN

All of a sudden, my drift screensaver only shows a black screen. I have two partitions, one for Catalina and one for Big Sur and it's the same. Drift worked fine a few days ago but now nothing. I checked the Energy Saver settings and they were fine. I reset to default and still nothing. It's still black. Any suggestions?

I'm using a Mac Mini with an external display.

Screensaver preferences crashing 2017 15"MBP So a week or 2 ago I changed my screensaver from 'word of the day' to 'Drift'. I would get crashes (your mac restarted because of a problem) intermittently when it came out of screensaver/sleep mode. At first I thought this was to do with a hardware peripheral (wacom cintiq plugged in using a usb+hdmi adaptor), so I left it unplugged to see if the issue resolved. I also updated to catalina 10.15.7. The mac still crashed ad rebooted when moving the mouse while the screensaver was on. I now know it was the screensaver for certain, as I went to change it back to word of the day, and clicking a new screensaver forced the black screen of death. Has anybody encountered this issue before? Is there a way to check the health of my video card? Catalina with MacMini Late 2012 Hello since I got Catalina the screensaver is not working fluently, watching movies the picture freezes more often than before and the poor mini is constantly blowing. What can I do? Thank you

Screensaver not working...running 10.15.7 Hi - random out-of-the-blue issue, recently screensaver is not working and won't launch no matter what troubleshooting I do, or tests I run (I've used Fliqlo clock without issues for years, it's updated too). No screensaver works at all, Apple or 3rd party, and I've made no system or setting changes to anything other than updated recently to the latest 10.15.7 Catalina for my older 2012 iMac. Google and forum search is no help, seems to be a new issue. Any help or advice? Thx - Michael

Drift works fine for me using dual displays on a 2018 Mac Mini running Monterey 12.1.

Try starting up Safe Mode followed by a normal restart.

if that doesn't help? Double check your Energy Saver and Screensaver preference settings, to make sure that the display is not set to sleep before the screensaver engages.
