HomeKit Secure video “known to household”

“Known to household” button shows “0”, and is non-responsive when touched. How do I populate the list of known faces?

tctimber,

The "known to household" section contains the visitors you’ve confirmed you know, but who aren’t in your Photo Library. The only reason to push these is if you have a list of people in this section. If you don't have any visitors in this section, there no need for any action. I hope this helps.

You can see more about this here:

Set up security cameras to use with Home on Mac

Specifically, take a look at the section labeled "Get notified about who’s at the door"

Hope this helps.

Best Regards.

Thanks, but I had already worked my way through that article. I have face recognition working properly on my Logitec Circleview Doorbell. The only stumbling block is, as I mentioned, the "known to household" capability. As I understand it, this should be where "faces" of people known to frequent our home will be listed. It currently has a count of zero people. Documentation says to "push" the "known to household" button to edit the contents, however, that push does not result in any action. I have seen others post on Redit to the effect that "it eventually started working". So perhaps I just need to be patient.
