Keyboard not working correctly

We recently (December 2021) purchased an IMAC 24. Montery OS

Now only a few weeks after purchase the keyboard is not working correctly. When we type different functions and dialogue boxes pop up, we press 'a' it takes us to the app store. We press other keys other boxes open up. It is basically unusable we may as well have an ipad.


What can we do? We updated all current software. We unpaired bluetooth re set up the keyboard.


It was working fine and now its useless.


Any ideas?

Go to your Accessibility preferences and make sure everything is turned OFF. Try hitting the option key 5 times.
