I understand you've noticed that iHeartRadio will start playing audio on it's own without being prompted, so let's see if we're able to get to the bottom of this.
For starters, is this occurring when the iPhone is connected to a bluetooth device, vehicle, or via the iPhone speakers? If this is occurring with a bluetooth connection, be sure to let us know what device you're using when this occurs.
In addition to isolating when this is occurring, let's be sure you're updated to the latest iOS version and have the latest app update installed.
