How to sync the contact list on my iPhone to my new Mac Book Air

Easiest way is with iCloud (ideally with an iCloud+ subscription so you have enough space). Set up and use iCloud Contacts – Apple Support (UK)

If on your phone and Mac you have contacts to be synced in your iCloud settings they should be aligned.
