You can't use a Microsoft gift card to purchase anything from Apple.
You possibly could use it to purchase a Microsoft onedrive account from Microsoft.
iPhones are from Apple. Not sure why you got a Microsoft gift card.
You cannot purchase additional [internal] storage for your phone after purchase. You can only purchase additional iCloud storage.
