Is there any way to turn off 5g
Is there any way to turn off 5g because the only time my phone doesn’t work is when it’s connected to this stupid network.

In settings choose Cellular > Cellular Data options > Voice and Data. There you can switch to LTE. 5 G coverage is still pretty spotty.

They do, I have excellent service.
I'm a field technician and drive all over my local area.
Rarely see the LTE indicator and have no issues web surfing or watching streaming video.
If the original poster is having issues, I would recommend contacting their cellular carrier and do some troubleshooting.
Possibly swapping out their SIM card.
Until now we had no cell phone coverage on the road we often travel to my mountain hometown. I just read that they are finally erecting towers along that route, not sure whether LTE or 5G. People are objecting to the appearance of towers, but for those needing assistance, it will be a great help. The night that the elk ran into us, we had no cell phone coverage so we couldn't even notify the Animal Control officers to search for an injured animal. And we were a menace to other drivers with our smashed windshield!
I live in Arizona. There are inner-city parks with spotty coverage in the deepest parts and popular national monuments with as little as 5% cell phone coverage.
I can cut people slack when they live in crowded/flat states and are staggered when told about "no coverage".
At least in the city areas they put fake palm-leaves on the cell towers so at a glance they look like trees.
I haven't tried it but I think 5G is still pretty spotty here in Colorado. Even LTE coverage is lacking in some mountainous areas.
Which is somewhat of an issue as 3G networks are being shut down by most cellular providers next month.
Yeah, people who don't drive around Colorado don't know how easy it is to find an area here with zero coverage.
And those towers must look like trees so as to not spoil the view!
Not in my area with T-Mobile.
I have 5G coverage pretty much everywhere.
Note that just because the 5G annunciator is lit up doesn't mean they have it working correctly at the tower. 😢
