carplay ios 15 listen now default screen

Every time I connect to Carplay, the default screen is "Listen Now" instead of the music screen with the current song playing. This is really annoying and actually dangerous as I have to look at the screen to find the small button in the upper right corner to get the "Listen Now" screen out of the way to see my music. This change occurred in the recent IOS15 update and I cannot find a way to get rid of the screen.
