I purchased a couple of event tickets and added them to Wallet on my iPhone 12 Pro. The date and time on the event tickets were correct yet Wallet expired the tickets in advance of the event. Why?

Hard to say unless you ask the ticket vendor. Like I said earlier, the only experience that I had with that was that rewards card. I've never experienced any problems with Ticketmaster, which is the only ticket vendor that I've used before for concert and sports events. You can try contacting the vendor you used if you wish to see what they have to say. When checking, this support document does not mention a time period about expired passes, except for certain ones when the date is expired. I don't know what else to recommend.

How long were they in the Wallet. Are you saying that they were deleted, or just hidden? Things in the Wallet like that will be hidden if not used in a specific period of time. It is not that they expired, they just get hidden with other things that are expired. I found a card from a store for rewards that was done that way because I had not used in for quite some time.

The tickets were in Wallet for 4 days prior to the event. The tickets were hidden and I couldn’t find them initially being a new user to Wallet. I had looked at them several times following the purchase but when we got to the venue, they were no longer visible. At the bottom of the Wallet screen there was a link that said “View expired tickets” which I selected and the tickets appeared. I expected them to be where they were before and we had to delay going through the gate while I found the tickets. There is an option to not hide expired tickets but I don’t want to scroll through a bunch of old tickets just to get to the ones I need, yet I would like to keep the expired tickets as a record of the events. I thought the tickets must have some hidden data attached that Wallet used to expire the tickets. Just not sure how it works.
