Your chances of conversion success decrease as soon as you mix ClarisWorks/AppleWorks data (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, etc.) in the same document. If you have pure documents (strictly word processing, etc.), then your conversion chances improve.

If these are pure word processing documents, and you have an older Mac running macOS from Snow Leopard to High Sierra, you can use Pages '09 v4.1, or later to open these documents directly into Pages '09 documents. Those can also be opened in later versions of Pages. If you don't have Pages '09, then…

The free LibreOffice Suite¹ can open ClarisWorks 5 and AppleWorks 6 documents to varying degrees of original appearance. Save those as Word 2007 - 365 .docx format, and then open those Word documents in Pages which will translate and write them into new Pages documents.

¹ LibreOffice 7 or later requires macOS 10.12 or later.

With great difficulty and several steps, I'm afraid.

The first step is to convert those ClarisWorks files to AppleWorks 5, then to AppleWorks 6.

From AppleWorks 6, you'll need a variety of applications, depending on the type (word processing, spreadsheet, database, draw or paint) of ClarisWorks document you started with.

Roger Wilmut wrote an extensive article at the time Apple declared an EOL date for AppleWorks and released iWork '08 or '09. That article, Abandoning AppleWorks, is still available on his website.
