Apple doesn't unlock phones.

The carrier it is locked to has to unlock them.

Contact AT&T.

Also posting your phone number on the internet is not wise.

I took my locked iPhone 12 mini to VERIZON. They referred me to Apple. Can anyone confirm if it is the carrier or manufacturer that can unlock the phone? Thanks!

Unlocked by Verizon. Should be automatic.

Verizon has a 60 day policy on unlocking for anyone, except for military personnel with orders to deploy outside of Verizon's coverage area, where they will unlock on request. It also sounds like it doesn't matter if it's on a contract or not, but the customer has to pay the bills.
