My Mac's share menu insist to show a link to a specific person's email. It's been persistently there for as long as I remember, it's also a person I dislike so seeing that name all the time is unwelcome.
I don't understand why its there, it's a person that I rarely ever write to and I can't find a way to remove it. Any ideas?
Maybe you can get rid of it by deleting the Share menu preferences file named com.apple.preferences.extensions.ShareMenu.plist located in your Library -> Preferences folder.
After a Mac restart it will be created again with default values.
Consider that you'll probably lose any other Share menu customization you made (if any).
You can either trash the file (if you know how to access your Library folder) or delete via Terminal with the following command:
rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.preferences.extensions.ShareMenu.plist
Thanks that worked.
Just wondering how it go there in the first place.
Share menu shows someone's email - how do I remove it?
