can't log in to app store using my macbook

So I've just got my macbook air yesterday and it's my first apple device. I had no problems setting everything up, but when I wanted to sign in to the app store it didn't work. Whenever I try to sign in, it asks me about my apple ID, I sign in normally and then it asks me to review my ID as I've never used it before. But when I click on review, it just loads for a few seconds and then goes back to asking me to log in again and repeat. Is there a way to fix this or am I doing something wrong? I'd appreciate getting some advice!
