Does iCloud backup store all app conversation history from messenger and whatsapp?

iCloud will store messages in the backup file only if you’re not using messages in iCloud -> Use Messages in iCloud - Apple Support

WhatsApp has its own backup feature built into the app itself. See WharsApp support for that -> https://faq.whatsapp.com/iphone/chats/how-to-back-up-to-icloud/?lang=en
