Does a screen protector work on an apple watch?

Sure. My boss installed a screen protector (Zagg - Glass) on his brand new Aluminum Series 7 watch and it works great and fully protects the screen from scratches. Best Buy stores sell and install screen protectors for Apple Watch and there are loads of options available on Amazon as well.
