Buying a New IMac 24”

Hi all,

I have a 10 year old 27” IMac that has finally bit the dust…hard drive etc. It’s time to upgrade to a new model for many reasons.

The old IMac had a 1tb drive on it. I have a large photography library in Lightroom so I had used up about 230gb of the old drive.

I am looking for advice on whether a 24” IMac with 512mb drive would be enough for my current and future needs or if I should upgrade to a 1tb drive. I would also like some thoughts from those who have gone from 27” to 24” on whether or not they miss the screen size, additional ports etc. Thanks in advance.
