New USB port won’t charge Apple devices

New USB port in caravan won’t charge apple devices even with apple cable that came with devices. Have checked with installer of USB who states it is compatible with apple and was tested in the shop and worked. Do we need a different cable?

How do I supply power from my iPad to my MacBook Air is it possible my MacBook Air charger is broken so In the meantime in trying to find a way to charge my MacBook using iPad charger to supply power from my ipad

If you have a modern iPhone, then it requires more power than a typical USB port alone would provide.

▷ You need the 20W USB-C Power Adapter to charge a modern iPhone 12 or newer. 
