After using ⌘⇧4 to select a section of the screen (specifically, an image) and then using "Share" icon to add the image to Photos, the dialog window freezes, i.e., any click anywhere in the window causes it to beep and flash, but nothing happens. The window can be moved, but that's about it; cannot close it.

Try the Escape (eSC) key to close it.
