Screenshot window will not close/ operate

Yes, it is silly for the window to just sit there "binging" when you poke its controls, and that you have to use a ctrl+Q to quit. Apple should fix this, to maintain the (more-or-less) intuitive flow of their OS and apps. It's a clear bug.

Mine starting doing that after Macs latest update. So irritating. I would love for it to work as it used to. Looking for a fix also.
