I want to leave a group text conversation in iOS 15.1 and it cannot be done. Why would Apple remove this feature?? Do the current developers never get looped into a family conversation where 2 people take over and start having what should be an individual conversation in a group text??
This feature needs to return!!!

One option that may work for you would be to mute a conversation. Check out the info under “Tuen on Hide alerts” from the following article for info on this:

That doesn't work for me, because every time I go to my phone it says I have multiple unread messages. Why is there no feature to just remove me from the conversation???? This used to be an option!!!
I would very much like to see Apple create a way to get me out of these conversations. It doesn't seem right that I am trapped in a group getting updates I don't want.
