Change macbook full name
Is it safe to change just my MacBook full name?
I see a warning about "making changes could damage my account"
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.6

You can easily make a change here without issue. This has nothing to do with your account user name.

Yes, the box you have marked in green is safe to edit. Many of the other fields in the screenshot are not safe to edit so if you want to make any other changes, then make sure to refer to the article @Smilin-Brian linked.
If you instead mean the long or full user account name such as "Steve Jobs" as opposed to the short user name "stevejobs", then yes, you can change the long user account name without any problems. When making any other changes to a user account name, make sure to carefully follow the instructions in the Apple article @Smilin-Brian linked. It would be best to carefully read the article regardless of what change you are making to the user account name just to be safe.
Just to be sure, this is exactly what I want to change, from MAC to Narudesigns. This shouldn't cause any harm right?
Thank you so much!
I was just very worried because of the warning lol. It worked just fine.
Since several of us all helped, if you could mark the best answer that solved your question with Solved, it would greatly be much appreciated. 😉
