Microphone not working on Apple Watch Series 5

I have an Apple Watch Series 5 and Hey Siri, talk to text, and all other microphone functions do not work. I have walked through the questions and instructions to remedy this on this site and others and nothing is fixing it. I unpaired the watch, set it up as a new watch and nothing has worked. This problem has made the watch almost useless as I use these functions a lot.
