If I can provide a response on your low iCloud storage comment, there are really two options for iCloud storage: one being to try and free up space with the current storage you have available: and two being to upgrade your storage.

Nevertheless, if you are on the 5GB plan, than not only will an upgrade (minimal upgrade option) provide more storage but it also opens up other benefits your can use in your iPad such as Private Relay (Beta) and Hide My Email Address which are options I have activated on my iPad and not experienced any issues, at this time.
