comcast email will not verify on MAC mail

I changed my comcast password and now MAC mail can not verify the comcast email. I can access my email from my iphone and directly from comcast site.. so I know passsword is correct and it is not comcast. It is something with Mac Book Air Mail. I am on MacOS Monterey

Apple Support was able to assist me in getting my Comcast email re-added to my MAC mail. The issue was Norton VPN. Once it was turned off, I was able to add and verify my Comcast email. When VPN was on- it would NOT verify IMAP email. Norton VPN does not offer split tunneling for MAC so is a problem if you have a MAC.
