USB Devices disabled

I see "USB Devices Disabled" on my Mac, and all the ports are disabled for Input devices. Is there a setting I can re-engage them with? I just need it for my Ethernet and cannot even get them going again.

2 of my Mac mini USB ports disabled After connecting my old iMac to my Mac mini using firewire with a firewire-USB adaptor, by usb port was disabled - drawing too much power. I tried both one USB and one Thunderbolt 3 port. I gave up on connecting the iMac, unplugged it. Both ports are now inactivated. How to reactivate them? I reset SMC and PRAM, rebooted, unplugged the mini. All to no avail. Any other suggestions on how to fix this?

2 of 3 USB ports not working on 2007 iMac A subwoofer running through a stereo connected to the iMac via a Griffin interface shorted and apparently has disabled 2 of the 3 USB ports in the rear of the iMac. The keyboard and any additional peripherals that are attached to the remaining port works. What is the procedure for resetting these ports (if possible). Here are the screen images that I have gotten after restarting via the power button.

Hi,

Try to check your USB ports with Apple Diagnostics if it is caused by hardware related issue(NDD001).
