What happened to select all when I delete emails

What happened to select all when I try to delete email. It is gone

When you open your email inbox, you should be able to tap on Edit in the upper right corner. Then in the upper left corner, tap Select All. The option to delete is labeled Trash, and it is in the lower right corner of the screen. I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 15.2.1.
