How do i upgrade to catalina?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and if your Mac is a 2012 or newer model(2013 for desktop Mac Pros), click on Catalina.

Catalina and newer won't run 32-bit software; download and use Go64 to scan for it. To check other programs, click here and look them up.

A 2017 Mac can run Catalina. Upgrade as described above; if desired, get Big Sur or Monterey instead.
