Iphone 13 background noise too loud

Does anyone else have an iPhone 13 and the audio is so sensitive that you pick up all of the background noise? Any ideas on how to correct that? I have spoken with Apple and they said the 13 doesn't have the noise cancellation option and there is no way to adjust the microphone.
