Hi Donny1235Dek, thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.
I note in previous discussions, it was suggested that the user first update their iPadOS with the most recent version being 15.2.1, and also update their Facebook app with the most recent version being 349.0.
The following link explains how to update iPadOS:
https://support.apple.https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT201222
The following link explains how to update an app:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202180
However, I see in your post that you may have an iPad Air with IOS12 and as such you may not be able to update your IOS anymore. The following link shows the last IOS version available on an iPad Air:
https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT201222
Furthermore, the iPad Air having been released in Late 2013 and Early 2014 may no longer work well with the most recent versions of apps available as Apple and developers regularly update their apps to provide security improvements and enhancements.
Therefore, if you cannot update either your iPadOS or Facebook app, can I suggest that you try the following:
You can do this as follows:
You may also want to consider purchasing a new iPad and you can see all the models available in the following link:
Please note, at times Apple sells refurbished iPads at reasonable prices should this be something you may also be interested in considering as per the following link: https://www.apple.com/shop/refurbished/ipad
However, please check what is available in your Country.
