two factor verification

I recently downloaded the updated version of call of duty:mobile. After downloaded, i tried logging into app using my "sign with apple" (as i have always done for the past year). I continue to get an error that reads: please sign into your with your Apple ID and complete the two-factor authentication before attempting to log in with "Sign in with Apple"." At this point ive tried everything and not sure how to get past this. Im signed into my device with my Apple ID. Ive done two-factor verification through icloud. Ive done the two factor verification through the google authenticator app for activision. I restarted my phone, deleted app and redownloaded. Not sure what else to do.
