Announce call via headphones & car play not working

I've been using Boat 621 Bluetooth earphones for a while now. I recently switched from Android to iOS. In my previous Android phone, the earphone used to announce the incoming caller ID. But I'm unable to do so in iOS. I've enabled the Announce calls and chose Headphones & Carplay. In fact, I've marked the Device Type under Bluetooth as Headphones even, but all in vain.

If I choose Always, it announces clearly even when I'm connected to the earphone. Please help me resolve this issue

Hi Kaavian, We appreciate you reaching out to us. We understand that you are unable to use the Announce Calls feature with your headphones.

It is likely because your headphones are not supported.
