13 Pro to Air Pod Max wired connection.

Firstly, I know I can’t get full lossless from

any BT headphones.

All I’m doing is trying to get the best quality I can from the AP Max.

Can someone tell me if this is the correct set up to get the best audio quality without using any external devices.

AP Max - Lightning 3.5 to Audio Cable - Lightning to 3.5 Headphone Jack Adapter - iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Using Apple Music audio quality set to Lossless ( not Hi Res )

That is what I’m running and to be honest I can’t notice much difference in audio.

Even if I toggle between lossless on and off in settings while listening I can’t notice a change.

Am I doing something wrong or is the change in quality just not that noticeable from wireless using this setup without and external DAC?

Also when wired I lose the skip function on the Digital Crown, the option for spatial audio and ANC / Transparency in headphone settings... although ANC / Transparacy still work using the button.

Is that supposed to happen ?
