iPhone photos storage/iCloud/faceid

1) How can I download all my photos in timely fashion off my iPhone? Can I save somewhere other than iCloud? (I used to save on my laptop but it took so long...I’m not very computer savvy these days so trying to figure out how to save my photos I want to keep and clear out my storage since it’s almost too full

2) apple keeps charging me $2.99 to expand my storage but I guess it’s not enough and I want to find out how to cancel this so I can do this manually. How can I do this?

3) Also, I signed up using faceID which was required for my previous job..but I don’t want this anymore. I use my passcode but faceID icon still pops up sometimes and it takes seconds longer to sign in sometimes because of this. I have turned the faceid off. Do I need to go “deregister” my phone number? Or will it always do this now?
