I recently was trying to open a banking account, and after filling out all necessary steps, the last step was a digital contact requiring signature. I have my signature saved in Preview but was not able to apply to this form. Any thoughts on how to sign within safari?

Though not available for Safari, if you can save a file, you can use Markup to create and add a signature to files.
Also, you might be able to search the App Store for extensions that may allow for adding signatures as well.
