TextEdit: Disable "Correct spelling automatically" permanently

How can I disable "Correct spelling automatically" permanently for all texts that I open in future in TextEdit? I can only disable it for the currently opened document.

disable spellcheck entirely I disable spellchecking in an application (for example, Apple Notes). After I quit the app and launch it again. Spellchecking is active again. No matter what I do, it is only a temporary solution. I want to disable spellcheck entirely in all of MacOS. I don't mind installing additional app? Is this possible in any way?

Using TextEdit When composing a text on "TextEdit", I suddenly find (just today) that for no known reason, the 2nd line (and all that follow) are now indented! How can I return "TextEdit" to its normal behavior? Thanks, Keith

System Preference >> Keyboard >> Text and disable item circled
