Screenshot freezing the computer

We understand your MacBook Pro is freezing when taking a screenshot.

Do you notice this when taking a screenshot of the entire screen or only a portion?

I to am experiencing this issue every time I do a screen shot I have to shut down my computer to get rid of the screen shot. Waiting for a fix. I am working on a MacBook Pro 15" MAC OS Monterey 12.1

i have only tried taking a portion of the screen (Cmd-Shift-4) and it freezes after I click on the resulting icon and save it (to photos). I hope that helps someone in Apple solving the issue.

My problem is same :(

I've got the same problem for a partial screen shot. It's been happening for weeks on my new Mac mini M1 with the latest macOS Monterey.

Any solution yet?

I spoke to Apple Support (3rd time), he did the screen sharing (again) but this time there were no problems taking screen shots.
