Keeping Notes on I pad

I use Notes on my iPad.However I would prefer to use an app. where I can create files.-just as I use Word on my desk top.

For example:

File Name: House expenses

sub files: Heating

insurance etc.

also, when I type emails on my iPad often the top lines are fixed in a very large font and bold and I can’t adjust it.

HI davdasimmons, thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

In regards to Word, you can use Word on an iPad as well as Excel and other Microsoft apps.

However, Apple also provides Pages (Word), Numbers (Excel) and Keynote (Powerpoint) which you can consider using as well.

If they are not on your iPad desktop(s) then they can be downloaded from the App Store and the following link explains this in more detail:

The files can be saved in iCloud Drive or OneDrive and accessible through the Files app and the following link explains this in more detail:

Incidentally, I prefer to use my iCloud Drive for all my files as I find syncing with my MacBook and iPhone seems very good with no issues.

In regards to Notes, there is also an option to setup Tags, which may be an alternative option to using folders, and the following link explains this in more detail:

In regard to eMail, I think you are referring to the Subject: line which is Bold and Large. At this time, and from previous discussion on this matter, the Subject: line cannot be changed.
