Hello vbk1588,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about Apple Music on your Android device.

We recently released an update for Apple Music on Android. If you are running version 3.8, here are some troubleshooting steps to help you. Due to differences in Android software, some steps might vary slightly.

1. Please verify you downloaded the app and signed in properly using this article: Join Apple Music on Android - Apple Support

2. If so, try restarting the app. To make sure that the app is completely closed and all background processes are stopped before they reopen it, follow these steps:

  • From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Scroll to Apps, then tap it.
  • Tap Apple Music.
  • Tap Force Stop. If they see a message that says "If you force stop an app, it may misbehave," tap OK.
  • Return to the Home screen or the application list, and reopen Apple Music.

3 . If the issue persists, restart your device.

4 . If the issue still continues, clear the app cache.

  • From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Scroll to Apps, then tap it.
  • Tap Apple Music.
  • Tap Storage, then tap Clear Cache.
  • Return to the Home screen or the application list, and reopen Apple Music.

5. Next steps if you still have a problem is to sign out of Apple Music and then sign back in.

To sign out:

  • Open the Apple Music app.
  • From the bottom of the screen, tap either Library, For You, Browse, or Radio.
  • Tap the 3 dots .
  • Tap Account Settings.
  • From the bottom of the screen, tap Sign Out.

To sign back in:

  • Tap the 3 dots.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap Sign In.

When you sign out and then sign back in, you will have to re-download all of the music you want to listen to offline if you had some previously.

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
