No you can not delete it. Mail is installed as part of the Mac's operating system and it cannot be individually installed or deleted. It will be reinstalled if you reinstall the operating system. Rather than do that, it would be most helpful if you would please tell us exactly what is or is not happening. Saying it is corrupt is not useful and is not something anyone can respond to. Once we have an idea of what the problem is, then we can offer some suggestions for you. Please, help us to help you.
