IOS 15.1 Photos App Audio out of sync after video trim

This functionality worked fine on 13.x

BROKEN After upgrading to IOS 15.1 and 15.2.1 (from 13.x)

Using Photos App

Open a video
Trim and "save as new clip"
the audio is out of sync, by sometimes as much as 5 secs.

This happens on a short clip of 30 secs.

Cold reboot, does not fix the issue.

iPhone has plenty of free storage.

It happens with video clips generated from Adobe Premiere Pro H.264

1080p, 30 fps.

iPhone 13 Pro

I have some videos on my iPhone from YouTube that are saved in my Photos app. The audio for some of these videos was working fine when I first saved them to my Photos app. However, something happened that caused the audio button to turn grey and the audio to disappear from the video: This is the “Options Bar” below the video with no sound. Notice the greyed out volume option which allows you to turn the audio on and off for the video. (When it’s blue, that is!) You used to be able to transfer the video to the VLC app (third-party app,) which somehow brought the audio back to the video. But even this doesn’t work anymore. iOS Screen Recording: Why is Audio not in sync with video? In every video I've made with my iPad using the screen recording feature, the audio lags behind the video. The lag is evident in playback in Photos, from the beginning of the video. Are there any solutions to this problem? I have tried some of the fixes recommended on these forums and elsewhere, including using Handbrake to produce a video with constant framerate. While I was able to successfully create video files with constant framerate, the audio unfortunately remains out of sync.

after synchronizing cinematic clip with audio file into one clip, all the cinematic options disappears after synchronizing cinematic clip shoot on my iPhone, with an audio file into one clip, all the cinematic options disappears, and i see the synched clip in the time line as a regular clip and not as cinematic one. any idea how to sync a cinematic clip and keep it that way in final cut pro? thanks!!
