Can I assign F3 key to mouse button?

Check with the " Manufacturer of the Mouse" being used.
Just be certain the software is 1 - Trusted Software and 2 - Is Monterey Compatible

AFAIK do not think so . Unless one might be using a Third Party Mouse with special Software used to control the mouse.
