Installing iTunes

I'm trying to install iTunes 12.8 and I have Mac OS Monterey. it's telling me not compatible

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

That is correct. iTunes is not compatible with macOS Catalina or later. It cannot be installed on Monterey.


All functions of iTunes are still in the OS, but separated between the Music App, Tv App, Books App and Finder.


If you need to sync or restore a device, you use the Finder now.
