risk241,

Yes, you will be asked to enter your password to disable Find My on your iPhone.

When you’re signing back in to iCloud you’ll be asked for your current Apple ID password and for encrypted data such as iCloud Keychain, you’ll be asked to verify with your passcode. As for an old password, is that an old password for the same Apple ID or for a different Apple ID?

You are also correct about two-factor authentication. Unless you switched to that security method within the last two weeks there is not an option to turn it off.

When you’re on a phone call from the Phone app, unless you’re using Wi-Fi calling the call is using your wireless carrier’s servers, not your router. As for what is possible through your router though, we’d recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of the router or if it was supplied by your internet service provider then they may be able to help as well.

Where are you logging in to your iCloud account that you notice a delay? Is that the iCloud website, are you logging out and back in to your account on your iPhone each day or somewhere else?

Thanks.

Salutations to you risk241,

We understand that you’re able to send emails through your iCloud account but not receive them. Additionally, you’re not receiving text messages in the Messages app, but are able to send them. When using the Phone app to make or receive a phone call, the calls are getting disconnected. Lastly, you signed out of your iCloud account and now when signing back in, you’re being asked for an old password or possibly device passcode.

For iCloud email, the following article has the steps to follow. The article will have you verify some things with your iCloud account, some things with your device, and some things via the iCloud website - If iCloud Mail isn't working

Next, for text messages - If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Tell us more about the dropped phone calls using the Phone app. Does this happen in a specific location, do you see a ‘No Service’ or ‘Searching’ message when it happens? As the Phone app uses your wireless carrier’s network, please also check to make sure all carrier settings updates are installed - Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad

Lastly, when signing back in with your iCloud account, is it a password or passcode you’re being asked for? We inquire about this because when enabling some features you’re asked for the 4 or 6 digit passcode to verify the device.

Thanks.
