Of course two minutes after posting this question I downloaded the Party Box App that prompts Bluetooth to detect the USB cable and now everything's perfect.

Music will not play through USB on Iphone 13 pro updated to 15.1.1 I have a 2014 Chevy Equinox LS that will not allow Bluetooth for Music streaming and only will use USB. When I connect my iPhone which is on iOS 15.1.1 to the USB port it shows as charging but does not recognize the phone itself. I have a 2018 iPad Pro that I has not been allowed to update and it is on iOS 15.0.2 that works fine when plugged in through the USB and is recognized immediately and plays. This car is not a Carplay device as GMs prior to 2014 did not have Carplay enabled radios. What do you guys recommend? I would be interested to see if I could downgrade back to 15.0.2 if the phone works with the USB. I have tried several different lightning cables with the iPhone and all do the same thing. The device is not recognized by the car in this version of the iOS!

iPhone 11 Pro can’t play music via usb aux in 2010 Lexus RX Hello - my iPhone 11 Pro used to be able to play music when connected to the usb cable to my 2010 Lexus RX aux port. I am running the latest iOS 15.4.1. If I connect my kid’s iPhone 8 which is also running iOS 15.4.1, music plays fine. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? Thank you!
