I have a 5th gen IPad Pro 12.9 and want to connect my pencil 1st gen

All 2018-2021 iPad Pro models use the newest Apple Pencil 2.

The original, older Apple Pencil 1 WILL NOT work!

Both Pencils charge and pair differently.

You need to purchase the newest Apple Pencil 2. No option.
