Balena Etching failing

I have a 2020 Mac M1 Mini running macOS 12.1. I have had no other problems with it.

Using Balena Etcher 1.7.3 to flash a USB drive, it fails.

I would be very grateful for any advice or pointers.

OK, so simple if you know! Saw a post saying you had to add Etcher to the list of apps with Full Disk Access (Security & Privacy, Privacy, Full Disk Access). Aargh, all those wasted hours!

Hello,

Can you please explain what error code you get? It could have something to do with the Monterey update in which case try updating etcher or as an alternative you can use UNetBootin.
